Congratulations Graduates

I am so pleased with my students who all did well on their exams this year, despite a few of them being nervous (and one forgetting a C+ triad she’s been playing for 3 years). All the graduates got First class Honors – a great achievement! A lot of hard work went into this, and though I’m sad to see you go to other teachers for private piano lessons now, I’m still happy of your accomplishments.

Fortissimo and Sultans of Swing – free live Music

I just had the pleasure of hearing the band called “fortissimo” play. Parent tips to other Music parents

Here are some tips shared with me by other Music for Young Children parents: 1) If you find a piece difficult just play the first line, or first bar. When you get bored of repeating that, then try some more! Look for patterns that repeat. 2) Be persistent and don’t give up with practices. 3) Try practicing in bursts 5 minutes at the piano, 5 minutes with toys, then back to the piano, repeat. 4) Show an interest in piano.
